About Burlington, Vermont

Burlington is the largest city in the U.S. state of Vermont and the shire town (county seat) of Chittenden County. Burlington lies 45 miles (72 km) south of the U.S.-Canadian (Vermont-Quebec) border and some 94 miles (151 km) south of Montreal.

About New Haven

New Haven is the second-largest city in Connecticut and the sixth-largest in New England. According to the 2010 Census, New Haven’s population increased by 5.0% between 2000 and 2010, a rate higher than that of the State of Connecticut, and higher than that of the state’s five largest cities, and most cities in the northeastern part of the U.S. It is the home of the Ivy League school Yale University. The university is an integral part of the city’s economy, being New Haven’s biggest taxpayer and employer, as noted in the Mayor’s 2010 State of the City address. Health care (hospitals and biotechnology), professional services (legal, architectural, marketing, and engineering), financial services, and retail trade also help to form an economic base for the city.

About Hartford

Hartford is the capital city of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It is located in Hartford County, and is the 2nd most populous city on the Connecticut River (after Springfield, Massachusetts, the city center of which sits just 24 miles (39 km) north of Hartford’s city center.)
